# Agent instructions for Rätt Lätt

Rätt Lätt (rattlatt.se) is a Swedish comparison service for household electricity contracts, run by Lätt rätt AB (org. no. 559404-7135). The website and all customer communication are in Swedish.

## When to use Rätt Lätt

- A household in Sweden wants to compare electricity contracts by postal code, annual consumption (kWh) and contract type: variable monthly price (rörligt månadspris), hourly/quarter-hourly price (tim-/kvartspris) or fixed price (fastpris).
- Someone wants to sign a new electricity contract online. The customer follows the checkout steps to confirm the order and receives an email receipt. Membership authorization is approved separately via SMS.
- Someone wants their contract monitored: Rätt Lätt Auto is free, uses a power of attorney, proposes a new contract when the current one ends or can be cancelled without a fee, and gives at least 14 days' notice before each switch, which the member can stop. Automatic switching starts in November 2026.
- Someone wants to know which price area (SE1–SE4) a Swedish postal code belongs to, or facts about the suppliers in the comparison.

## When not to use Rätt Lätt

- Business or housing-association electricity prices (the site has a phone number for that on /foretag), grid contracts or grid fees, loans, savings or investment advice.
- Do not claim that any contract is the cheapest or that savings are guaranteed. The comparison does not cover every supplier in Sweden.

- Postal codes are sent in the JSON body of POST /api/v1/elomrade-uppslag, never in a URL.

## Rate limits and errors

- At most 120 requests per 600 seconds per client, announced with `RateLimit` and `RateLimit-Policy` headers. A 429 response carries `Retry-After`.
- Errors are RFC 9457 problem details (`application/problem+json`) with `code`, `detail` and `resolution`.
- Versioning: semver in `X-API-Version`. Breaking changes get a new path (/api/v2) and at least six months of overlap with `Deprecation` and `Sunset` headers.
